Nontraditional careers are careers that are predominantly and traditionally filled by one gender. Most careers in forestry are nontraditional occupations for women and gender-expansive people.

There are many different kinds of careers and jobs in forestry. Some examples include: saw mill operator, forester, equipment operator, business owner, conservation worker and more.
